Mansoor Saleh, MD serves as Director of the University of Alabama’s Phase I Clinical Trials Program and Medical Director for the UAB Clinical Trials Administration Office. Dr. Saleh is also a Visiting Professor at Aga Khan University in Nairobi, Kenya where he is involved in promoting clinical investigator training and development of their Center of Excellence in Oncology. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, having published close to 100 peer reviewed publications and 13 book chapters. His focus has been in the area of targeted therapy of cancer, translational research and early phase drug development (first in-human trials). He is nationally known for his work with monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of cancer as well as the treatment of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) using novel agents.
