Katie Lang, MS received a Master’s of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s of Science in Genetic Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduation she was awarded the only hereditary cancer genetic counseling fellowship in the country, at the Fisher Center for Familial Cancer Research at Georgetown University. After this Katie relocated to Atlanta to begin working at the Hereditary Cancer Program at Northside. She has been the coordinator of the program since 2014. Katie is also a founding member of the Georgia Association of Genetic Counselors and is currently serving as the Committee Director where she is heading efforts to obtain Licensure for genetic counselors in Georgia.
